SoulOS Privacy Policy

Effective July 15, 2026 · DUPREE OPS LLC

SoulOS is built to be private by default. This policy describes exactly what the app does with your information.

Your data stays on your device

Everything you enter into SoulOS — your birth details, journal entries, relationship profiles, readings, chat history, and settings — is stored locally on your device as JSON files (and, for widget data, in the app's private App Group container). We operate no servers for SoulOS, and your data is never uploaded to us.

No accounts, no tracking

Optional AI guide (your own OpenAI key)

The "Ask Your Guide" chat is optional and off until you add your own OpenAI API key in Settings. If you use it:

Purchases

Subscriptions (Guide and Guide+) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment information. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

Calendar and notifications (optional)

If you choose to add an aligned-action block to your calendar, SoulOS uses write-only calendar access — it cannot read your existing events. The daily morning brief is a local notification scheduled on your device.

Data deletion

Because all data is local, deleting it is entirely in your control: use "Erase all data" in Settings, or delete the app. We have no copy to delete.

Children

SoulOS is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone — including children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
